There Are Tutorials Afoot

So last week I asked for suggestions for tutorials that people would find useful, and most of the responses were given over on Facebook. I just wanted to let you all know that there are several tutorials in draft form at the moment, and I will be publishing them soon!

Here are the suggestions so far:

Costuming for the Non-Costumer.

Fully finished ensembles

Where it is and isn't okay to deviate from period practices and why.

How to look at portraits and see patterns

Seam pressing

Transferring an embroidery design to different materials.

"The Joy of Fabric" Period fabrics

Comprehensive look at the difference between weave and content.

And a sprang tutorial, but as I do not grok sprang yet that one may be suited for another blogger ;)
